Chromakopia still outsold Mr. Morale with only 4 days and 5 fewer tracks. Cry about it all y'all want
Nobody crying. I just pointed out that Tyler also outsold Drake's album that released closest to that Kendrick album and got called a dumbass
Why??

Because that was a surprise dance album. Why are you comparing two rappers numbers-wise but using the numbers of the one who dropped a dance album to compare? You think a surprise R&B album by Kendrick would perform nearly as well as his rap albums?

I wouldn't know because I haven't listened to that album more than once but there's no rapping other than Jimmy Cooks? Sticky ain't got verses?
why are kendrick fans so defensive lol
quadra obviously trying to bait kendrick fans
As a sales dork shouldn't you be objective at least,
The question is, why is a Kendrick album from 2 and a half years ago the standard? J Cole and Drake have released projects since, but a nigga came in here saying "Tyler outsold Mr Morale with only 4 days". Don't play dumb
Exactly the type of behavior that got y'all humbled in mid 2022 and throughout this year

There's 1 traditional rap song on there. The second song where he raps is over a dance beat. And it's still a dance album. Notice how all Drake's traditional rap albums this decade have all sold at least 400k first week?

Because that's the last Kendrick album? It ain't our fault he doesn't drop often lmao. When people discuss the Weeknd's numbers, we refer to his last album, from almost 3 years ago. That's how it works. You're only as big as your last s***. We can't discuss Kendrick's next album yet because it hasn't dropped yet. It ain't that hard to understand lol.

Okay and again, J Cole and Drake have more recent albums. "Tyler sold less than FATD with 4 days of tracking" don't have the same ring to it huh
Why is Kendrick rent free on Quadra's mind and why are you so quick to justify it
This what I hate, just stand on that s***. Y'all trying to hate on Kendrick for what he did to your idol, just say that then.
Remember when tgd turned against Drake and called him a p**** for one day and now back to relentless d***riding
why are kendrick fans so defensive lol
Why are Drake stans so antagonistic and passive aggressive?
Can't wait until Drake underperforms with his next project and you're going to ignore this thread for weeks just like you did in the past
I can’t wait for the excuses when Drake’s next album sells less than 350K first week

It’s almost like one album had bundles and the other didn’t

But when people say that Mr. Morale obviously wasn’t going to sell like crazy due to the content on the album, y’all call them crazy

They also act like Kendrick’s next album isn’t going to completely blow past 297K. I wonder what they’ll say then

You’re gonna have to change this to “at least 300K first week” when the next one drops

If I recall correctly, someone brought up Chromakopia outselling The Off-Season. That's Cole's last album and it dropped in 2021 (Might Delete Later is an EP/mixtape so it doesn't count). As for Drake, Tyler has never outsold Drake so there's no discussion to be had there. With Kendrick, his latest album put up very similar numbers to Tyler with Tyler slightly outselling him and with 3 less tracking days and 5 fewer tracks. That's noteworthy. They're both LA natives and with Tyler's latest album, are undisputably the two biggest rappers from LA currently.
Kendrick is clearly the bigger artist but like I said, you're only as big as your last s***. I know Kendrick's next album will be bigger than Tyler's but it still has to drop for us to see how it'll perform (many people thought Mr. Morale would perform a lot better than it eventually did because of the success of DAMN).

Kendrick’s had a bigger year with one song than Drake and Cole have had all decade.
This nigga just got announced to perform at the Super Bowl and you’re comparing him to Tyler, the Creator.
With all due respect to Tyler, please be serious

I think you know exactly what Quadra was doing and it's not because they're both from LA. But I agree with everything else, this a good post

How does it feel to post non-factual things so often
No, Kendrick's 2024 in total units will not be bigger than any 2020s year for Drake
No, Kendrick's 2024 in total units will not be bigger than any 2020s year for Drake
accomplishments and astonishments
divine and quadrs cooking u idiots as usual

How does it feel to post non-factual things so often
Nobody gives a f*** about your spreadsheets man
Also most of those “total units” s*** is just back catalog.
Neither Drake nor Cole have had a 2020s year as big as Kendrick’s 2024. Fact.
