Yo it would be interesting to see Tyler in a serious rap beef lol. He’d produce some dark sinister s*** for himself

it would inevitably go to violence and niggas like him dont know how tame or far to go in situations like that, see Drake lmaoo

But musically that would be amazing

Tyler’s numbers are incredible, but it’s very interesting that he isn’t getting the “bundle merchant” treatment that Travis gets

the bundles narrative is corny, idc if drake, kendrick, taylor swift, tyler do it, if an artist is selling physical releases, it shows f***ing quality.

quality in the music, marketing, etc

that s*** is needed in music

I know. I understand that. I’m not denying that it’s impressive.

But 115K of the estimated 250K total are physical bundles.

If this was Travis, people would be saying the numbers were fraudulent

No it’s not. 115K of the estimated 250K is physical copies. They shipped a few days ago.

I completely agree with this. I hate the bundle narrative. It’s not easy to make a sale of a pure copy no matter what you attach to it.

I just don’t understand why someone like Travis gets the label and someone like Tyler doesn’t when they are using most of the same tactics

I just noticed that MDM (a 6 track surprise release) was streamed 146M times first week

While Dawn FM (full studio album with promo) did 174M streams first week

This really puts into perspective how much of a flop Dawn was lol

I truly believe that the weeknd hype peaked between Starboy and MDM, those were the last two projects people were eager to listen to on release day
