One day y'all will realize that people barely care about albums anymore and that moving many sales really doesn't mean s***
Taylor has huge numbers for sure but when was the last time she had a super big hit? Cruel Summer and that song already came out 5 years ago and went viral last year. The GP isn't really caring about her stuff at all
Bruno Mars has like 65 songs and 25 of them were big hits. It doesn't mean s*** that he "flopped" (lol) with his last album because even 24K Magic had like 5 hits total
Same with The Weeknd. He had multiple hits after Dawn FM. Albums aren't that important anymore
so now album sales don’t matter anymore lol
it’s cool that he has two big songs out right now but that doesn’t mean much in the discussion we’re having

Who said this? I said the general population does NOT care about albums that MUCH and thats a fact lol
Bruno Mars is as big as Taylor easily too
you BOTH are obsessed but I've seen you in many threads defending The Weeknd with your life like bro...
I literally don’t bring up Weeknd ITT. The only time I’m discussing him in here is when it’s in response to a @mangotflu post
Bruno Mars effortlessly outcharting The Weeknd with his two features
The people are tired of After Hours v3. At least Bruno switches it up every album.

One of these things is not like the other.

Bet he won’t outsell him with a new album though
One of these things is not like the other.
You’re right, only one of them has 7 Diamond songs
Drake & Weeknd new music is flopping
Ed Sheeran fell off completely
Adele’s last album came and went
Bruno’s last album flopped + he was never a big first week mover
only Taylor is still doing it big
Canadians and coke addicts flopping?
I literally don’t bring up Weeknd ITT. The only time I’m discussing him in here is when it’s in response to a @mangotflu post
Thats what i'm saying tho. Why are you summoned to defend this nigga everytime someone says his name like Voldemort

weeknd couldn’t even outsell gunna last time he dropped what are we talkin about here?

The last time Weeknd and Bruno dropped albums close to each other, Weeknd outsold him by over 100K.
Weeknd has four #1 projects compared to Bruno’s one.
Also, Weeknd and Bruno’s most recent album first week sales:
Dawn FM: 148K
An Evening With Silk Sonic: 104K

so we comparing niche group albums with solo projects now?

Bruno is bigger than the Weeknd. full stop.
but I understand your frustrations itt. A lot of the things these other users are clowning Weeknd for, apply to Bruno as well. the hypocrisy is crazy lol

Just comparing their most recent projects since Bruno hasn’t dropped a solo album in 8 years.
24K Magic dropped November 18, 2016 and did 231K.
Starboy dropped November 25, 2016 and did 348K.
BBTM also did 412K in August 2015 btw, more than both Bruno’s first and second albums.

All of this is hilarious coming from the person who believes The Weeknd is a global superstar but Drake isn't.
Bruno Mars > The Weeknd globally. Unlike some people, I won't say the Weeknd isn't a global superstar. Bruno is just bigger and has achieved that status with far less music and general activity across his entire career.
Like, Bruno's career launched in 2009. He became a star in 2010 with his debut album and 14 years later is still scoring massive global hits. The Weeknd didn't become commercially successful till 2015.
Again, one of these things is not like the other.

I never once said Drake wasn’t a global superstar
