The streak remains

Prince was giving away free CDs at concerts and claiming them as sales, so they revised their policy to give fans an actual option on wether or not they wanted to buy the CD along with a concert ticket. (banned shortly after the Kenny Chesney/Drake thing)
With merch bundles, people weren't even aware they were getting an album with their Weeknd Green Apple Lollipop.
Taylor is selling music, so the only option they have is to limit the amount of versions that count as a sale. If only 1 single artist is capable of selling thousands of albums in seconds, is it really some kind of industry finesse? Or is her demand just that high.

Did 42 dugg sell 0 albums? Where is he?
under 10k so the number isn't recorded
she bunkering down for Not like us going #1 again
looks like NLU will be #1 for some time. Eminem failed to out-debut it on AM, and it is doing a lot more streams than A Bar Song on Spotify

it didn’t get a full sales week anyways
He might not clear 300k tbh
https://twitter.com/StatsSpotify/status/1771502330900344942It could still happen. An opening like that probably gets it to ~200M streams first week, so around 150-160k streaming units. His last album did a little over 100k pure sales, so I guess 260-280k fw, an overperformance could easily lead to 300k+

https://twitter.com/StatsSpotify/status/1771502330900344942Doing bigger numbers than artists half his age and after almost 30 years in the game. Only Eminem, man.

https://twitter.com/StatsSpotify/status/1771502330900344942I was gonna say he has physicals on his side, but they don’t ship until October. He might actually not clear 300K

His physicals don’t ship until October. He’s not doing 100K+ in pure sales through digital only.
His ceiling is probably 250K
hey is anyone else wondering if OP is okay irl? she used to post stuff daily. now its been like 2 days. did she have a traffic accident or something
I think she's fine, she's just on copium since Kendrick took back the top spot on Billboard 100

Sure she’s selling music, but what she’s doing is no better than the bundle merchants. She’s repackaging the same album 895 times and selling it at full price to her fans who she knows will buy anything with her brand attached to it in the name of collection.
An album should have at most 2-3 versions to count towards the base album’s numbers. Anything over that is unnecessary and fraudulent
