The culture needs this
Y'all think Kendrick could sell more than Drake if he comes with a Damn type of album? I have a hard time believing it but if there is one thing I have seen in this beef, it’s that people are some real Npcs and just jump on whatever is cool to hate on
were u complaining when the NPCs were on drake’s side

LMAO since when can you sell a lot first week because of hate
Kendrick’s music in 2024 is electrifying and Drake’s music in 2024 is fecal butter. That’s the only reason he’d sell more than him at this point in their careers

Drake's popularity is diminishing, but he's still the biggest name in rap. Sure every standard rap album he drops sells less then the one pervious and his songs fall out the top 10 damn near instantly, but for first week sales all he gotta do is keep people engaged for 7 days.
Kendrick could outsell with a more accessible album, and a big rollout with physicals.
Eminem trash, but this is valid.
There is no reason to put so much sales weight towards radio play.

White on White crime.
But yeah...Billboard heavily favors radio play. It's the main reason why Carnival didn't debut at number 1 right away.
Even Drake's latest hits haven't gotten much radio play.
Billboard lowkey trying to diminish rap's dominance.

I feel like there's been a change this year, a lot more artists are blowing up than I saw in 2021/2022/2023
