i know you did, but they're not even close to the same thing. i'm tryna keep it short and not go back n forth on it lol but reissues like Yours Truly are a regular music business practice. it's the same exact album repackaged with bonus material, in Ariana's case it was live tracks. i don't see how or why a re-recording and a reissue would be compared. but if you must
edit: i guess you mean because the live tracks were newly recorded...that's a bit odd since bonus material on traditional reissues is usually old archived stuff from that time. but yeah

because whether its a reissue or rerecording its still an old album coming out again, if the dictionary definition makes you feel better go ahead. its not as if every fan cares about the intricacies, its still literally the same album except the added vault tracks but lets not act as if thats the vast reason why its doing numbers
