Personally, I'd love to see it happen.

Future and Metro Boomin have once again proven to be a dream team. The duo’s latest collaborative effort, We Don’t Trust You (Boominati/Freebandz/Republic/Epic), arrived on Friday (3/22) with a resounding, um, boom, muzzling the critics who insist rap is dead. It quickly became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day this year,
Unsurprisingly, “Like That” f/Kendrick Lamar is currently #1 at Spotify U.S. and Apple Music and #4 at Spotify Global, undoubtedly bolstered by K. Dot’s lyrical assassination of both Drake and J. Cole. Kendrick’s venomous lines were trending on Twitter (X) within hours of the album’s release and spawned seemingly endless memes. As of Saturday afternoon, tracks from We Don’t Trust You occupy six of the Top 10 at Spotify U.S. and all 10 at Apple.
We Don’t Trust You marks Future’s follow-up to his platinum-certified ninth solo album, I Never Liked You, which topped the chart following its 2022 release. The new 17-track set includes additional contributions from The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, Rick Ross and Princess Diana, and all signs point to a #1 debut, with projections in the 200k+ range. The number is significantly higher than Future’s last collaborative album, Pluto x Baby Pluto with Lil Uzi Vert, which opened with 105k in 2020.
Future and Metro’s next project, Will Still Don’t Trust You, is expected on 4/12. We hear the title was loosely inspired by us. You’re welcome.
both i never liked you and heroes and villains were very stable on streaming their debut weeks, we don’t trust you might looks like it may be also. so far get it sexyy has dropped 3 spots on the AM hourly US chart since last night

Because the pathology of the character throughout his music remains relevant culturally. Think about how the toxic masculine caricature has taken ablaze in pop culture over the last few years, or the internet’s Gender Wars
The Future character is timeless, and surprisingly, the lack in big changes in his sound serves to reinforce that timelessness. Dude is lowkey a symbol at this point
Whats crazy is he hasnt really had any big changes in his sound either.
him being stagnant in lyrical content and sound is just apart of the artistry at this point lol he’ll never get any flack for it

He's similar to Ross in that regard.

This isnt true at all
Future has only been fine tuning and refining the sound he introduced in 2015
He’s consistently experimenting with new flows and sounds while not veering too far from comfortability, its really hard to do but its why he along with drake remain the only two artists to stay hot for 10+ years

Future has one of the best pens in rap but most dont catch it because of his style
His diss to Jay Z is legendary in how subtle it was, he just called drake a Mutt Ho on his new somg and no one caught it
Future is an artist at the top of his game but without the pompousness
prediction went up 👀

There are many artists who have stayed hot for 10+ years.
Futures sound really hasnt changed and thats not really a bad thing. You can experiment a bit but the projects as a whole still sound very similar.

Many artists like who? With a consistent output like future?
