Drake has more radio #1 hits this decade than any artist.

You list WAP as an example of a "real hit" and claim Drake hasn't had a song that reflects that but WAP only spent 13 weeks in the top 10, meanwhile other Drake hits this decade like Wait for U (20 weeks), Laugh Now Cry Later (19 weeks) & Life Is Good (17 weeks) all spent more weeks in the top 10 and the latter two songs didn't even peak at #1 like WAP did. First Class, another song you mentioned, spent 18 weeks in the top 10. Paint the Town Red spent 20 weeks in the top 10. First Class/Paint the Town Red both spent multiple weeks at #1 that counted towards their total weeks in the top 10 btw.

So, basically, yes, Drake has several REAL HITS this decade. That's not even mentioning the dozens of other songs he's released this decade that didn't spend much time in the top 10 but have been getting streamed just as much, if not more than songs that spent months in the top 10 (thanks mostly to massive airplay). Many of those songs of his have sold more units than many of the songs you'd consider massive hits over them.

I'm not sure exactly what it is but many of you on here are determined to act like Drake crossed over to this decade and stopped seeing commercial success and his run of commercial dominance ended in 2018 or something. Even worse, you act like there's anybody in rap who is seeing him when it comes to these numbers. You couldn't be more wrong.

That man remains by far the most streamed artist in the US this decade. He has the most chart hits, the most radio hits and has broken/set more chart records this decade than anyone else.

You'd think after watching him dominate for so long, some of you would have gotten used to it by now, but apparently not. I'll always be here to remind y'all, though.

I think even the most anti-Drake fan could acknowledge and respect his status as the greatest hip-hop hitmaker of all time.

Saying “Drake doesn’t have any major hits this decade” is not the same as saying “Drake’s run from 2009-2019 doesn’t count”.

All we’re doing is simply acknowledging and pointing out the fact that his crop of hits from the past five years have not hit the same or had the same cultural impact + staying power as his hits in the 2010s did. And there’s NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. It’s just the way it is now, and that’s okay!!! His resumé is still unmatched.

And yes, it is true that he has been outdoing everyone in rap this decade (sales wise), but rap this decade has not been particularly dominant either, not the same way it was in the mid-2010s

This isn’t even me cherry-picking his biggest songs, these are just the singles off of all of his projects from 2009-2019. I think any non-biased person can agree he hasn’t had a hit on the level of any of these since 2019

Kanye scored his first hit in forever and the first thing y'all jumped to say is "oh, look, this Kanye hit is bigger than ALL of Drake's hits this decade." A statement that's factually incorrect and just proves y'all are thirsty to talk s*** about Drake's achievements this decade (like there's anyone in rap who comes close to replicating what he's done).

Drake is still scoring some of the biggest hits in rap today. That hasn't changed. A song doesn't have to spend 52 weeks in the top 10 to be a hit. Most of his biggest hits from the 2010s didn't spend that much time in the top 10. Some of them didn't even peak in the top 10. So what's the point in trying to down him by saying "oh, but his hits this decade aren't as big as his hits in the 2010s." He thoroughly dominated that decade and is doing the same this decade. It doesn't matter whether his hits now are as dominant as his hits back then because he's still outdoing everybody.

That's why the whole debate is pointless. Y'all are just mad at his success and the fact that it took Kanye scoring a hit for y'all to start this silly debate, proves that.
