2 years strong. ed sheeran is finished in these streets.
bro needed a deluxe lol
first ever act to gross 1B would be an impressive and historical achievement. they will be touring until Nov 2024
Taylor will cross 1 bil in march next year.
Coldplay might not even reach 1 bil by Nov next year
It takes the Coldplay tour 100 shows+ to gross 600M.
It took Taylor ~60 shows ti gross 900M.
their tickets are cheaper
they are for the working class people
This was gonna happen regardless. Utopia was boosted by $5 vinyls in its first month of release. It was never a monster on streaming in the US.
Two successful gimmicks, one to boost streams the other physicals

Silly post considering how poorly SH3 performed streaming-wise lmao. For All the Dogs was gonna surpass Utopia eventually on US streaming, whether or not SH3 got added to the album.
For All the Dogs
Week 1: 514M
Week 2: 220M
Week 3: 190M
Week 4: 126M
Week 5: 110M
Week 6: 101M
Utopia
Week 1: 330M
Week 2: 145M
Week 3: 124M
Week 4: 92M
Week 5: N/A
Week 6: N/A
And some of you are surprised Utopia got surpassed in US streams lol.

What do you mean it performed poorly? The EP with 6 songs he threw on the end of FATD accounted for nearly 1/4 of the entire album streams for the week and literally DOUBLED the album's SEA and got him a second week at #1
Why do you think the intro of FATD saw a 93% increase the day of the new version? (and the first few tracks re-entered the daily chart)
After the "EP" ended it looped back to the beginning and people forgot to turn it off. Not even a new gimmick that he pulled out. It did exactly what it was supposed to do

This is a very lazy argument lmao. Virginia Beach has been one of the best performing songs on the album since it dropped. It has remained in the top 10/top 20 of US Apple Music/Spotify since the album dropped. Its stability/gains in streaming weren't because of SH3 being added to the album. They've happened every week since the album dropped.
For comparison, SH2 alone (3 songs), moved enough units to debut at #1 with well over 100k SPS if it counted on the Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, SH3 has 6 songs tacked on to a 23-track album and boosted an album that would have done 60k+ units regardless to 145k units. That's an 85k increase and all 85k SEA units didn't come entirely from the SH3 tracks. Go figure lol.
new taylor single is so f***ing good
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQq9eP5OFhwDebuts at #1 on Spotify Global (6.8M), #1 on Spotify US (2.8M) from 11 hours of tracking and is currently #2 on US Apple Music. Crazy.
2023 was kinda underwhelming music wise tbh
no wonder stuff from 2022 like Un Verano Sin Ti and As It Was were still so big this year

Not sure how you saw a song going from 73 to 31 and called it stable... but okay.

Wait, could it have debuted number 1 if released on a normal time?
