There's not much wrong with following the charts. But checking it EVERYDAY is an obsession. They tell you the stats at the end of the week man
I check for 3 minutes and then I'm off. It's literally a click away. I waste more time on here replying to 3 posts than I do checking those charts, get off this silly high horse.

Oh! Seems like I got it twisted. They didn't say she was the most streamed, they said she had the most "unique listeners." Basically the same thing as Spotify's monthly listeners stat (which is basically useless and isn't an actual reflection of the most amount of streams being pulled per month). My bad.

To see what the top 50 most-streamed songs on Apple Music are at any given point in time? It's a rolling chart so it's more interesting because songs are rising and falling all the time, especially when new music drops. For example, Best I Ever Had spent most of the year charting in the top 50 of their US chart and not because it went viral on TikTok. That was interesting to me. Stuff like that.

They don't do that for Apple Music, that's part of why I check. Spotify stats get posted because they post their numbers. Apple Music don't so all any chart account can say is "so and so song is now #1 on US Apple Music."

Nov 28, 2023·1 replythegreatdivineThat's a non-factor when a top 20 album on US Apple Music can have only 1 song charting at #187 on the songs chart and if you understood how the actual stream breakdown is, you'd know that a song that's ranked at #175 on US Apple Music is pulling in less than 200k US streams so songs ranked outside the top 200 are pulling in negligible streams. How can an artist who has 35-40 songs ranked in the top 150 for most of the year not be ranked as the #1 act of the year? Especially when they also have the #1 song of the year? It doesn't add up at all and it's something that can't be thoroughly scrutinized because Apple Music don't ever release any streaming figures. It's whatever, though.
It isn't a non-factor at all considering Taylor has over 5x the amount of songs Morgan has.

Why are you posting Spotify numbers when Apple Music Global numbers are what's being discussed? And btw, Kworb's system for digital rankings is massively flawed. It only accounts for a handful of songs across massive artist discographies. Get that s*** outta here.
