OP would rather display her fave losing the #1 as the headline than display T swift's HDD early predictions
Since this is a sales thread and Taylor/Drake are both hot topics on here, I guess now would be a good time to announce that Taylor Swift has just surpassed Drake when it comes to lead single streams.
Kworb just confirmed it.

Drake is only ahead of her when you factor in features.

i'm a tad bit conflicted on the validity of the 'total stream' metrics.
on one hand, if you are only a featured artist on a song, then you shouldnt get the full credit or attribution of one fully counted stream, because people arent there to stream you in particular, more so the main artist. even billboard and streaming services only give 1/3 of royalty to the featured artist so it's not nonsensical to dispute this.
on the other hand, a stream is a stream, which is a stream.
not sure what to think of it.

It all depends on the source.
Either way, both are streaming giants.
deleted it bc op of that thread was just trying to antagonize @op. but also, @op should definitely include HDD projections in the title as they come out. nobody gives a s*** how much 6-month old albums are selling, use that space in the title to show projections
I don't know how many times I've gotta explain this but this has been how I've been running this thread since I started it. It's all broken down in the OP.
Here it is, AGAIN:
Saturday: HDD releases forecast for new releases of the week.
Tuesday: HDD releases midweek forecast for the top 20 albums of the week.
Friday: HDD releases the final projections chart for the top 50 albums of the week.
Sunday: Billboard releases the top 10 albums of the week (official US albums chart).
This week's Billboard 200 chart was just finalized today with the reveal of the Billboard 200 top 10.
The projections for next week's top 20 albums drops on Tuesdays and that's when I update the thread title with the new projections for the week. I update it again on Fridays when the HDD Final projections come in and then again finally on Sundays, when the official numbers (Billboard 200 top 10) come out.
I'm not "hiding" anything. Y'all just only seem to care about how I'm running the thread when a major artist drops and I don't update the thread title how/when y'all would like when I've always done things a certain way.

Taylor Swift will get that record eventually but Kworb has a weird way of reading credits. It reads songs with co-lead credits as featured songs. For example, Yes Indeed, Only You Freestyle and Bubbly are just some Drake songs where he's credited as a co-lead but Kworb has those songs down as a feature for him because he isn't the sole lead artist on them. They do the same for many Bad Bunny songs like that as well and Taylor Swift rarely does features so she never has that issue the way a Drake or a Bad Bunny does.
Either way, credit to Taylor Swift but for now, Bad Bunny and Drake still have more streams on Spotify overall than she does. She should surpass them soon enough though.
Why are all the Lil Baby stans that turned into Adele stans that turned into Bad Bunny stans now suddenly all Taylor Swift stans...
And they be the ones in here saying they don't care about sales tho. Niggas be homie hopping the most popular artists of the week. At least Drake stans mean it when they love Drake and don't like him for the sales
You forgot that at some point, they were also Post Malone stans, Roddy Ricch stans, Harry Styles stans and The Weeknd stans :jordanlaff3:
They're busy claiming they don't care about numbers but magically do when it's time to hop on any current artist putting up big numbers so they can try to use that to s*** on Drake
Oh and remember, when you call them out on it, it's "no, we don't care about numbers but yes, we care enough and are pressed enough about Drake's success to use another artist's success to try to troll his success haha"
A truly pathetic and miserable bunch of people lmao.
Didn't that s*** JUST come out?
wtf
Two songs from the album— "Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)" and "This Love (Taylor's Version)"— were released in advance on September 17, 2021, and May 6, 2022, respectively; both charted inside the top 50 of the US Billboard Hot 100.

Oh s*** I see. Those get counted in the full streams also. But damn she moves units fast

Yeah, both songs had well over 650M streams on Spotify before the full album dropped on Friday so the album has really pulled just under 350M streams on Spotify since its release. But yeah, T. Swizzle is a beast with the numbers.
Ik Taylor is the topic in this thread rn
But how tf did Blink-182 and The Rolling Stones get 100k+ units in 2023?
