There’s the KTT ass niggas here on the internet then there’s real life people enjoying life like those DC residents
Is it safe to say that his biggest market is America (North and South America)?
Bro, you know when we’re saying America we mean the USA, because that’s what Billboard tracks for the 200
Finally, I’ve been saying they needed to do this forever
What’s this
What’s this
New chart, sounds like it’ll be similar to the Billboard 200, but the only metric being counted are streams.
So for instance, let’s say Drake and Taylor both dropped an album on the same day. Taylor’s album sells more overall units and Drake’s album streams more. Taylor’s album would be #1 on the Billboard 200, and Drake’s album would be #1 on the Top Streaming Albums Chart.
I’ve been saying forever they need to separate and track sales and streams separately

Gross

At this point bring bundles back
They trying to take down the king
How? I think this would benefit Drake more than anything with how dominant he is on streaming
What’s gross about it?
I just don’t understand the point. If you want to create a distinction between streams and pure sales just incorporate it into the regular Billboard 200 like HDD does. It seems like an overly online thing to do.

I like it because it more accurately tracks consumption in my opinion than the 200 does.
Like, let’s say for instance Utopia vs. For All The Dogs. If they had dropped in the same day, Utopia would’ve been #1 on the 200 and For All The Dogs would’ve been #1 on the Streaming chart, because Utopia sold more but For All The Dogs was consumed more.
Streams will still factor into overall totals on the 200, but this way albums and artists that do reach insane streaming numbers are getting officially recognized for it
Just like there's a sales chart, this is a streaming chart. Different ways of consuming albums
Billboard 200 remains the official chart counting everything
