Much like we were talking about how unfair it is to pit him against artists who sell physicals, it’s unfair to judge him in the arena of S tier immediate album demand. That’s reserved for artists who drop four quadrant smashes, which is something Drake hasn’t cared to do since 2018. The reason CLB’s numbers didn’t suffer from this recent change in Drake’s music is cause it was so hyped and we didn’t know it would be his first studio album since Scorpion that wouldn’t have those type of smashes on it

If he keeps hopping on waves to appeal to a younger audience, he’s gonna lose out on the older audience who’s been his core fanbase for years
