How are you trying to paint this as some sort of L?

It’s not an L per se, but you can’t sit here and tell me it’s a good thing that it sold less than Her Loss.

You were in here for a year talking about how collab albums always do less than solo efforts.

For All The Dogs was a 23 track traditional Drake album

It doesn't matter. The album was received terribly, probably more than any album he has ever dropped and still managed to pull 400k. And this is coming off a year where he dropped 2 albums.

Let's see what every other rapper does for the rest of the year and next year.

billboard's numbers are out, FATD did 2k less than her loss. this should be the end of the bloated drake album era.

Ima sound like I’m spinning on it I already know, but tbf these numbers show he’s still that nigga - given in the the last few years he’s been going out of his way to make rap and r&b music that doesn’t appeal to audiences outside of his established ‘bubble’ so to speak

That’s the context I see here tho who knows lol

Who cares? He's still the biggest in the game by a mile.

The point is that he might not be with the next album. For All The Dogs was a 211K first week sales drop from the last “traditional” Drake album. That’s why I’m interested in seeing what the next one does

FATD sales are officially in and this thread is about to get real quiet now that certain individuals can't come itt and say it flopped

Drake has 4 of the 5 biggest streaming debuts of all time and is the only rapper putting up 400k+ units off streaming alone and niggas are still trying to pass it off as an L. This is his FOURTH album in 2 years btw. I hope he doesn't drop for the foreseeable future. Let's all see what the rest of the game looks like without him constantly dropping.

Dropping 3 albums in 10 months before this one and still pulling these numbers is insane

I need to know the details of his new deal. shame he can’t say anything about it

its impossible to drop as often as him at the scale he does without getting burned out. the break is extremely necessary

Definitely a bit of an underperformance for Drake considering it’s a 23 track album. Think i’d chalk it up to how the current music climate is. Gonna be real interesting to see how this bad bunny album performs throughout the week and how 1989tv performs through the week it drops

Bad Bunny's album will be lucky to pull 200k.

I feel like a lot of niggas on here are purposely obtuse when it comes to Drake

Anyone else can sell less and we got weather forecasts with a million excuses for when they underperform but with Drake all logic gets thrown out the window and everyone completely forgets that billboard is constantly minimizing streaming weight

This album had over 500 million streams in it's first week. There's only 4 other albums who've ever done that, Drake is still at the top it's the rule changes that alter yall perception

I’m really not, I predicted this album to do between 500-550K

These Drake stans acting like 402K isn’t an underperformance is hilarious considering the fact that two weeks ago they were in here predicting 600-700K first week.

A 23 track Drake album doing less than 500K, less than 450K is surprising no matter how you try to slice it

Yeah it’s not looking like it’s holding well either. If the taylor album underperforms streaming wise too then it will really show just how weak streaming has been this year. The 3 biggest streaming artists underperforming in the same month will really confirm my thoughts about the current music climate

Yeah I knew this s*** was gonna happen lol. I said Her Loss type numbers this whole time but the fact that it took 23 tracks to match her loss obviously means that it’s underperformed a bit.

You might be the biggest hater on this site bro. Go sit with bad bunny and talk his ear off about it. Maybe you can give him some advice on why his album didn’t sell your initial 400k ceiling projection.
