We don't have much to go off for how Drake fans would buy physicals if they were available day 1.

Drake bundles wouldn’t work
His fans aren’t the type to buy vinyls and the thought of wearing Drake merch is embarrassing for most. Resellers aren’t attracted to Drake branded merchandise either.
Trav's audience don't buy vinyls either, he sold 55k and that includes the fan pack vinyls.

DAMN sold millions of cds/vinyls with no merch gimmicks, which was right as streaming was blowing up. Mr Morale came out and he barely sold any. Thinking a Trav fan would buy that s*** if a Kendrick fan isnt is nuts

The vinyl especially, there’s no way there were anymore than 5K-10K available with how quickly they sold out, and a lot of the copies were on eBay the same day for exuberant prices showing that they were mostly bought up by resellers’ bots

Travis has the type of fanbase that goes crazy for merch and different physicals and s*** like that. Same with Taylor.
Drake has a bigger fanbase than Travis definitely, but Travis fans in general are way more rabid than most Drake fans are
The qualities you’re using to define “rabid”, physical media and merch sales, are things Drake doesn’t cultivate within his fanbase. But you could easily say that Drake selling twice as many tour tickets for twice the price points to having a more “rabid” fanbase.
Unless you mean rabid literally in that Travis’s fanbase is nothing but feral teenage white boys

Nothing ever sells out that quickly unless it’s extremely ridiculously limited and/or scooped up by bots

There’s a huge difference between a fan willing to spend money on a concert ticket and a fan spending $150 on an empty briefcase because it says Utopia on it.
That’s the point I’m making.
Drake packs out arenas because he’s the biggest artist on the planet.
Travis can sell any product imaginable with his branding on it because his fanbase is rabid and will buy anything he sells them.
Neither is better or worse, just two different audiences
