    Yall gotta stop with the "its a collab album" fam. It's not 2016 anymore. Just like mixtapes, it being a collab album doesnt matter anymore. It got pushed and streamed just like a solo album

    All of that does matter lmao. Solo albums usually sell in between what artists do.

    WATTBA = 375k
    Future = 134k
    Drake = 1,040,000

    voice of the heroes = 150k
    durk solo = 120k
    lil baby solo = 216k

    Nobody Safe = 19k
    RTK solo woth stack feats = 18k
    YB solo album after = 137k

    Drip Harder = 130k
    Gunna solo album after = 90k
    Lil Baby solo album after = 197k

    Wrld on D**** = 98k
    Juice solo before= 38k
    Juice solo after = 165k
    Future solo = 125k

    What was Kendricks excuse?

    295k~ without physicals was the biggest first week in rap this year until this weekend and the third (?) highest first week of his career. Doesn’t require excuses.

    Besides, he’s not the biggest artist in music and his music isn’t so bland that sales figures make up the entire narrative surrounding it. Everyone but Drake stans moved on from that footnote months ago.

    I’m not sure what I’ll forget faster, how much Her Loss sold first week or what Hours in Silence sounds like. We’ll find out.

    This site really becomes ugly around a Drake or Kendrick drop which is incredibly sad since we got three combined projects in a single year by them. Great job by both drop the sword and shield we need to appreciate our legacy acts still being active

    Comparing WATTBA to views is stupid cause of how much push hotline bling and just the album in general got. U know that. The industry was way different back then and I don't really need to explain how much more streaming counts now compared to 2016. The rest of the albums listed are way closer in numbers.

    Y'all fighting this point for Drake who is arguably the biggest artist on the planet. He's not new to the game or someone who needs a lot of push to let people know he's dropping. Anything he does is going to pull in the same amount of listeners no matter if it's a solo album, a collab album, a surprise album, or a "playlist". But we'll see when he drops his next solo. 350k is still great numbers regardless I never said they weren't. Just the fact that it is in fact a 300k falloff from his last "rap" album.

    Oh so you mean Drake solo album push 🥴

    MATH TIME

    Savage Mode 2 = 171k
    CLB = 613k
    (171k + 613k) / 2 = 392k
    prediction = 335k-350k (85% to 89%)

    durk solo after = 120k
    lil baby solo after = 216k
    (120k+216k) / 2 = 168k
    voice of the heroes = 150k (89%)

    Gunna solo album after= 90k
    Lil Baby solo album after = 197k
    (90k + 197k) / 2 = 143.5k
    Drip Harder = 130k (90.5%)
