Fred Again not even doing 17K? KTT plant fr

how many weeks until It's Only Me is doing more sales frmo streaming than Midnights? I give it 10 weeks
Drake & 21 could’ve possibly beaten 310k
Depends on how many songs are on the album but yeah. Then again, Taylor is chart-obsessed and could just as easily released more physicals to boost her numbers if she saw the numbers were close.

Drake probably did not want to take any chances. He is 3 albums away from tying Jay Z for most number 1s among rappers.

Without a strong single already out I don’t think they would have did above 275k. If they put a good single out and delay the album one more time they’ll probably do like 450k fw

Depends. Midnights doesn't need to serve major longevity streaming-wise because Taylor will probably have another album out (probably a re-release of an older album) in the next 6-9 months. Either way, she's already won. Her album will do over 1.8M units in just two weeks, not to talk about the boost her album will get when she unfailingly drops more physicals. She can keep dropping physicals and boosting her numbers for the foreseeable future.

This is a terrible take. Drake doesn't need a single to do numbers. A well-received album with enough songs would easily do above 300k, collab album or not, as long as Drake's name is attached.

you think a good single would make that much difference?
feels like it doesn't really matter when you're as big as Drake, everyone knows he's dropping & talk about the album will be completely inescapable on socials for a few days after it drops
same thing Taylor had with no singles

Collab albums traditionally don’t sell as well though. I think drake will sell less than his solos with this one. This one for the real fans not the numbers imo

it's truly sad that this is how it works w/ the media lol. I've seen barely any articles at all about how My Turn has destroyed almost everything with it's longevity meanwhile I'v seen about a million articles about Taylor selling 1.5m first week lol.

Are you that surprised? Taylor is a bigger celebrity than Lil Baby. She's more mainstream and her albums do more numbers. Not surprising at all imo.
Have you seen any press about Morgan Wallen's monster album? Exactly.

I might be wrong but I think the album being pushed back will actually help with it's numbers because there's real anticipation. All Drake/21 have to do is deliver with the music.
also how can an album do 1.8m in 2 weeks and you aint gonna hear none of these songs out & about
