Imagine using track length, features and the success of a project to suggest it's not a side project when the artist who made the project told you months before it dropped that it wasn't a studio album.

Imo more life sold like that because people were already dissapointed with views .
Scorpion sold a lot because of the pusha beef and commercially successful single like hotline bling , with CLB it was because of this stupid beef with ye , otherwise i dont see why CLB sold so much this album is pure garbage it really is a mystery

Because when most artists drop a mixtape they announce it last minute and don’t market it whatsoever. IYRTITL, DLDT.

The thing with More Life is that it was announced months in advance, had a lead single, and has the same length / sound / feature list of a Drake studio album. That’s the point I’m making.

Beastmode 2 is significantly shorter than all of Future’s albums, was announced a day before release, and is a sequel to a previous free mixtape.

More Life is an hour and a half long, has pop crossover appeal, numerous high profile features, follows the Drake album formula, was announced months in advance, and has a lead singleZ

Beastmode 2 is more in line with IYRTITL and DLDT. Actual side projects/mixtapes.

More Life is a Drake studio album disguised as a “playlist”.
