I got why Drake stans are defensive itt because a lot of people bring up Damn and More Life when Kendrick had bundles, a full week, a ton of promo and Drake treated More Life like a side project

This was the first time they're playing by the same rules and CLB is almost double Mr. Morale numbers. I guess we know real music won and surprisingly it wasn't Kenny. I love them both even if their new albums aren't the best they've done

Him and Drake really didn't do any promo. Drake announced CLB 1 week in advance on ESPN and Kendrick only gave the title 1 month before with Heart 5 a week before. They're around the same length with similar drops so this is the most accurate time to compare them and Ye too. Cole's album was too short to really judge how close he is to them

Why did More Life and DLDT flop heavy compared to his other albums?

Because something being called an album vs a side project obviously matters to the public no matter how much this website tries to argue the opposite
