This s*** has exploded in pages and it isn’t even the end of the tracking week for kendrick yet
Kenfolk can spin it how they want, these numbers embarrassing. Especially for a 5 year wait.
Y’all still coping about Damn outselling more life in 2022
never knew it was weighing on y’all Drake fans mind for so long. You guys bounced back with CLB tho congrats.
I got why Drake stans are defensive itt because a lot of people bring up Damn and More Life when Kendrick had bundles, a full week, a ton of promo and Drake treated More Life like a side project
This was the first time they're playing by the same rules and CLB is almost double Mr. Morale numbers. I guess we know real music won and surprisingly it wasn't Kenny. I love them both even if their new albums aren't the best they've done

So why we acting surprised Kendrick’s sales are lower this time when he did none of that promo?

Most people assumed he was a tier above Cole commercially. Turns out he’s not

Him and Drake really didn't do any promo. Drake announced CLB 1 week in advance on ESPN and Kendrick only gave the title 1 month before with Heart 5 a week before. They're around the same length with similar drops so this is the most accurate time to compare them and Ye too. Cole's album was too short to really judge how close he is to them
I never said that. I said GREAT music. He’s dropped plenty of good music since 2015, and some great songs. Hasn’t dropped a great project since 2015 though.
Why did More Life and DLDT flop heavy compared to his other albums?
Because something being called an album vs a side project obviously matters to the public no matter how much this website tries to argue the opposite

This
Since Views he’s been showing flashes of greatness in his projects but they’re the same 20+ track albums that contain like 30 mins of filler
Can't even get excited for Drake projects anymore if he gon keep remaking Views
Like damn bro you're the one you win you broke all the records make some different s*** lol

Can't believe the word album is that powerful lmao

It’s like asking why Dr Strange is making $400m but no one is watching Moon Knight. The public knows the difference between an album vs a mixtape the same way they do a movie vs a tv show
One’s a big budget event. The other is just something to do in the meantime
