My turn damn near came out in 2019
*February 2020 but yeah. Monster album. The deluxe gave it a huge boost it's still benefitting from.
All like a year or longer before the album actually dropped. Barely did anything after the album dropped either
The second and last single off CLB was pushed the same month the album dropped (13 months ago).
U from faşist hollanda and didnt listen to electro?

Wonder what changed after Scorpion. He in a 500+ mil deal, you'd think that he'd have to do even more promo now but they just let him drop and disappear every time

Put me on
Playlists/eps/albums/singles/boiler rooms. Anything is cool
ain’t no way lucki outsold tory and freddie
cudi dropped a soundtrack so it’s not really surprising but what a bad week
big new releases have been bone dry for a few months now
none of the big names wanna drop anymore

I'm very interested about the terms of that deal because moving forward, I believe he'll do even less promo for his music.
They sold about what they can
They only Internet famous.
Nobody is actually playing Tory Lanez like that.
Damn didn't know Slipknot was back aka one of the 2 or 3 remaining hard Rock bands that cN do numbers. Will have to give it a spin at work sometime today 🤟🤟
Moscow Mule has been my favorite from the start, it deserved to do better. Best single imo.
I remember I heard that song on the radio the day after his album dropped.. was pleasantly surprised but that was the only time I’ve heard it smh

Well he should expect 0% when he's indie.
The Meg incident helped him build an actual fanbase surprisingly. Before that, his label was able to slip his generic trend hopping music in a s***load of playlists. At least he got his own audience now.

Lol..
Artists are underperforming because the industry has not caught up in terms of evaluating what streaming means as it pertains to sales
As pure sale numbers decline people will continue to have low 1st week numbers.
1st week sales for any act has never meant less than it does now. People are listening to music more than ever.

Absolutely cannot have the #1 album on AM across all genres upon release if no one is listening to you like that
All like a year or longer before the album actually dropped. Barely did anything after the album dropped either
Yeah it did seem like he just dropped it and forgot about it
I really wanna know what the 2020 version looked like w texts go green on it
Hnvm? His best project since Iyrtitl and top 4 in his discog.
Didn’t like it but I listen to it at the gym almost everyday now
?
The Meg incident didn’t help him build a fanbase. He was selling 90k first week prior to it.
The music is also not ‘generic’ but that’s an opinion.

He sold 83k one time, with full industry support and pre-billboard streaming nerfs. It for sure established an audience for him that by choice goes to bump his music.
