Remember you said this next time he drops
I will, please do the same.
Juice Wrld sold 500K lol
and his follow up album did 119K
and both those projects were studio albums.
Again, DLDT was a commercial mixtape, if you want to compare it to a "big artist" release, the most comparative would be untitled unmastered by Kendrick, which did 180K fw.

A lot of people that love drake didnt even bother listening first week cause it had demo in the title. I remember Mal who is a huge drake fan saying that aswell
Yall know why Drake is so hated on this site right?
It's cause yall hating on every other artist for no reason
Damn you based your opinion of an artist based on their stans?
Lmao
Drake saying the line “your s*** was boo boo excuses excuses” aged like fine wine
talking about midrick album and yawn fm
EXCUSES EXCUSES
In which unrelated-to-sales category?
350 after being a ghost for 5 years is a huge W
350 after being a ghost for 5 years is a huge W
Shouldnt that build the craziest anticipation? Or did people stop caring about him

I guess.
for what it is, the sales were great. cant expect album numbers for a mixtape. esp one comprised atleast half of leaks/snippets and youtube loosies.
Untitled, Unmastered also did solid #s

Yes if we ignore the undeniable fact that comeback singles/albums sell more...

A lot of people stop checking for you after a while, which is the reason a lot of artists try to stay in the limelight and drop often.
Kendrick winning on the charts and every other category.
If the debate is that Drake is the biggest rapper, was anyone really saying otherwise? I thought that was obvious. He's the biggest rapper of the last decade easily, and won't be dethroned for a minute.
But Aubrey is not the best. I love him and he's amazing at making easily digestible stuff that's pleasing to the ear and feeds IG/TikTok captions. But mans has been on cruise control for years now. Numbers are cool to bring up, but they alone can't be your shield if you wanna talk about quality.
Exactly. I enjoy Drake’s new stuff still but his stans on here are insufferable. I don’t think many people would argue he’s the most popular rapper still, and it’s impressive he’s held that spot for so long.
But music should be judged as art, not just a sales competition. Having such a narrow focus on sales and bashing any artists who are Drake’s “competition” is such a boring lens to view music from. At the end of the day if I like an album, I don’t care if it’s selling well or not. I think sales are interesting to look at but it doesn’t affect my enjoyment of something.
Vanilla ice one of the goats then
Which Vanilla Ice album people still streaming
Low IQ posting!

eh. the big artists i saw comeback after a long hiatus between commercial albums always did crazy numbers. the ones i lived through were Justin Timberlake in 2013 and Wayne in 2018. Compared to those, this aint that crazy, esp coming off 600K+ last album.
I don't think 325-350K is a huge W. I think 400K+ would have been a W. I don't think it's an L either though.Under 300K would of been an L imo.
Just okay numbers.

He realistically may drop under 300k. His sales are tanking so far

back in the day nobody really cared about sales like that. if your fav song was on TRL/106 and Park and the radio that was your world. I had no clue back then which songs/albums were going crazy on billboard, only cared about the songs and artists that i liked

I guess we'll cross that bridge on Friday lol
