The "only one female rapper can be relevant at a time" saying might actually be true. Cardi outta here it's Doja time.
It's sad to think about but it might be true. Even Megan Thee Stallion seems to be afterthought in the minds of listeners right now. Doja is the one that's on right now.
Put a ! before
It still shows up the same way when you do that.
doja gon ben alright if she stay out of female rapper drama. dont even engage with these hoes

Really? Damn. Worked for me tho
Think it was Drama for a while but Drake and Uzi have records together
The uncreative baiting itt is so cringe. I miss old ktt
Wait for U is back to #1 on US AM.
Drake has now had the most dominant songs on AM in 2015 (Back to Back), 2016 (One Dance), 2018 (God's Plan), 2019 (No Guidance), 2021 (Wants and Needs) & 2022 (Wait for U).
Jimmy Cooks is back to #1 on US AM.

I had never heard that before but that’s really interesting and honestly might be true. Certainly doesn’t help that Cardi’s song is garbage after her part
Mans listed a bunch of nobody’s LMAO
I only hear Big Scarr and that’s because bruh been on
You ain’t bumping that new Shawny Bin Laden?!??
Doesn't WAP already count towards the sales if it ends up being on her album?
That only works for RIAA certs nor Billboard fw sales

It's been a narrative for the longest time, especially during Nicki's run of dominance from the early 2010s. Her run ended when Cardi B blew up and Cardi B's momentum cooling off is coinciding with Doja Cat's rise.

I said for the longest time that Cardi was going to be a fad and people would quickly get sick of her and tbh I ate my words but I guess I ended up being right in the end… just like 4 years late
New Cardi B single already down to #12 on US Apple Music after peaking at #6.
Down to #14 now. Apparently, the video drops this week so it's left to be seen if that offers a boost in streams.

Cardi is cool but she isn't nearly as talented as Nicki or Doja. Her next album era will be good because WAP/Up will be added to the album. That's 2 #1 singles and 1.5M RIAA pre-release units so even if she doesn't score another hit off the album, it will at least make it to a 2x Platinum certification. I wouldn't write her off just yet but she certainly hasn't done herself any favors taking so long to release a sophomore album.

Very true. I’ll never understand why people walk away for so long when they’re hot. One mistake that Drake has avoided masterfully.
Yes Indeed, Wants And Needs, Girls Want Girls are up there with Drip Too Hard. Those will be Baby's only diamond songs by the end of the decade. Yes Indeed almost there already and it ain't even 2025. Laugh Now Cry Later and In The Bible did a lot for Durk and even he would tell you that. Some of yall really don't be in the streets like that so it might not seem like it
No stimulus in the history of the rap game is as great as Drake's. Anyone with even the tiniest bit of sense knows this. It's no mistake that a Drake feature is still the most coveted in the industry.

Same. I also don't get working your ass off for years and years to build a fanbase just to abandon them for 3/4/5+ years. Makes absolutely no sense to me. If you create a monster, you have to feed it. And it doesn't even mean you have to drop a new project every year but there's definitely better ways to manage presence that doesn't involve completely disappearing.
I'm glad Drake has been wise enough to understand that.

Most egregious example to me was just watching Chance completely piss away his opportunity to become the next big thing. Such a ridiculous fumble
Don’t leave while you hot that’s how Mase screwed up

whoever made Invasion of Privacy & Roddy Ricch first album are not around. Atlantic pulled the plug

I think in Chance's case, he followed up an incredible mixtape with a very s***ty album and it didn't help that cracks started to show in his good guy persona.
