Yeah I think that's Abel's biggest problem. He rushed Dawn and it ended up coming and going quicker than anyone would've thought. I hope Abel learned not to oversaturate himself. After Hours era was still going strong before he cut it off. I think he was trying to chase another Blinding Lights with TMB and Sacrifice too quickly after it's run was ending

I'm just pointing out why it was clowned. Anyone who adds tracks to an original album weeks later gets seen as doing so to boost numbers (and that is usually the reason why). It's why rappers have been dropping "deluxe albums" with 10+ tracks for the last 3 years now. It's all to boost their album's numbers. Nothing really wrong with that but people who wanna clown it will do so.

No one would have said anything if The Heart 5 dropped with MMATBS. It got clowned because it was added to the album 2 weeks later. Don't know why you're so mad Jimmy Cooks is on the album. Imagine being so much of a success that niggas call an album that dropped with 6 hours notice and still managed to debut at #1/nab a #1 hit with songs that will serve as the soundtrack to the summer of countless people an L. And to top it all off, the album is a deviation from his usual style/sound so it alienated a huge part of his fanbase. You have no idea how many artists in the industry wish they could take an L like that. All of that and he didn't even have to take 5 years off. Amazing.
Name another “dance album” with a pure rap song on it. It’s only there for the purpose of boosting sales and that’s it.
And funny you say “Countless people” when the sales are clearly trash and the Tik Tok engagement is basically non-existent. Might as well say that Logic album going to be the soundtrack of the summer for countless people. It’s just as valid of a statement.

Yeah, I know of the label issues. Truth is that Motley Crew/One Right Now both flopped before we knew of any label issues so you can't really blame the label on the album flopping.

Yeah, even tho I say Baby is wrong a lot of the hate is overcompensation. When he was knocking niggas out mfs was talking about how he live his raps and how real he was.
