Really hard to take any screencap of charts without Bunny in it, apologize for that
nah that's my opinion too, most songs are so generic that they really only exist in the background.
nothing really thought provoking or interesting, but also nothing super offensive.
Fair enough but the reason why takes like this are disingenuous to me is because y'all glamorize Drake's earlier music. There's nothing so special about the music he was making then. He's rapping/singing about most of the same s*** he's rapping about now with even weaker bars and on weaker production. Y'all just love that s*** as much as you do because those were his formative years and they were songs being made by a legend in the making.
I used to live in that bubble myself until I realized I'm only playing myself comparing the Drake of then to the Drake of now. They're not and will never be the same people. Drake today is still making incredible music. I can either recognize that and appreciate it for what it is or keep b****ing and hoping/wishing for a Drake that is long gone and will never be returning.
Many of you claim you want artists to evolve/grow/change but never give them a chance to do that.
Except I can listen to those hundreds of albums from different artists from those eras over and over again. There is literally zero reason to waste time with mid.
Yet you listen to everything Drake drops. Every single thing. Why are you doing that for an artist you think is mid and has been dropping wack music for years now? What does that say about you?

Amazing how y'all have switched to ducking behind Bad Bunny's numbers to go at Drake
Can't do that with Kendrick's numbers anymore, huh?
Drake stans been standing behind Drake's numbers from day 1. Drake haters run behind whoever they feel is outdoing Drake at the moment. At one point, it was Roddy Ricch then the Weeknd, then Lil Baby, now it's Bad Bunny. I wonder who they'll run behind next? 🤔

I also listen to everything Ye, Kendrick, HOV, Cole and Future drop. So? I don’t have to d***ride and pretend every single thing is amazing.

No one said you have to.

Morons even stanned that country singer when he outsold dark lane with fake tour bundles
It's very funny when you realize that all this anger towards Drake/Drake fans on this site is really because people are mad that man has been dominating music for 13 years straight with no end in sight and they hate that his fans are always acknowledging that fact. That's it.
What's even more funny is that every single person they've ever brought up to try to go against Drake has always fallen off at the end. Every single one. That man keeps outlasting everyone and that's why they're really mad. They don't know what to do with him

They'll do anything. Just wait and see. When Doja has a massive era with her next album, they'll get behind her and fake support her success just so they can use her numbers to try to go at Drake. It never fails
In 2017, they did with with Kendrick. In 2018/2019, they did it with Post Malone. And so and and so forth. I know they're tired but they have to keep looking for who they believe will finally take Drake down so again, with every new year, they'll get behind a new artist who they believe can get the job done

I think you hit the nail on the head, he's been in the game for close to 15 years now and he's still singing/rapping about the same s***.
In terms of the bars being weaker I would probably disagree because a lot of his newer stuff has a lot of throwaways (it makes sense because he releases so much music).
I always felt drake was very hit or miss from the start of his career, however it seemed he was a little more inspired and authentic earlier on.
Hope yall are having a great fourth celebrating the birth of this great nation
Let’s set aside the cope and grill some burgers

Headlines, Started from the Bottom and Back to Back are just some of Drake's older songs charting in the top 200 of US Apple Music right now. He's got 25 songs charting. Kendrick's got 3. Future's got 15. Lil Baby's got 18. Bad Bunny's got 24 (23 being from his latest album). Cole has 4, despite his last album being over a year ago.
