Deadass ? He can speak English ?
He fluent in English, man. If you didn't know who he was, you would think it's his mother tongue.

Well damn. Ain't even know. Respect to him for not bending over to devilspeak
Drake doesn't need to do that, neither does he care to do that, apparently.
Miss it though. Even Beyoncé going back to dropping singles.

I get that. Sometimes, I wish he'd do that as well because it's the one sure way he knows to release multiple singles but I understand why he doesn't seem to want to go that route anymore. And it's not like he isn't dropping singles altogether. He's just dropping the singles after the album release, not before.
200k+ opening weeks by hip-hop acts this decade:
Drake — Certified Lover Boy: 613k
Juice WRLD — Legends Never Die: 497k (bundles)
Kanye West — Donda: 309k
Kendrick Lamar — Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers: 295k
Lil Uzi Vert — Eternal Atake: 288k
J. Cole — The Off-Season: 282k
Eminem — Music to Be Murdered By: 279k (bundles)
Pop Smoke — Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon: 251k (bundles)
Drake — Dark Lane Demo Tapes: 223k
Future — I Never Liked You: 222k
Logic — No Pressure: 221k (bundles)
Drake — Honestly, Nevermind: 204k
And someone here sees 223k with a surprise side project as a "flop"
So far this decade, Drake has had 3 200k+ opening weeks. Every other person on the list has done it once. Interested in seeing how many people will be able to manage 200k+ opening weeks moving forward.

Can you do the same for all genres?

Yeah. At least we're getting rap Drake again soon with Scary Hours 3. Maybe one of the songs will blow up like last time.

because he drops albums nontsop lol
because he drops albums nontsop lol
So do many artists? it f***s many artists over because people get bored of the artist, seemingly hasn't happened with Drake yet, i guess cause he has too many different sounds
never forget Migos output in 2018/2019, it was ridiculous lmao they made everyone bored as hell. Future has slowed his output down in recent years and it's seemingly benefitting him
Kendrick the biggest artist in HipHop
what was future’s drop, cuz he will outsell kendrick if he hasn’t already
I don’t like when people say this man you not in the studio with the artist
his main engineer already confirmed Texts Go Green from hnvm was meant to be on CLB, same with a few other songs that were on DLDT/sh2 but I can't remember which

Honestly it hard to take it serious when you were saying s*** like Cope to anyone who offered an explanation why Kendrick album wasn't selling as much as Damn
If he flopped then so did Drake. It's simple

Neither Kendrick nor Drake flopped considering the circumstances of their releases and the industry around them. They both put up respectable #s versus their peers really

I agree
My preference would be she admit that and that she's helped to foster toxic thread environment that we can move on from but don't see that happening.
Instead we just gonna get something bout 5 years and that the Drake album was really just a side project so u can't compare
It's not that deep tho just it's still funny

I honestly think both flopped lol but yea this is highly arguable
drake for obvious reasons
kendrick cause he barely outsold a 12 track Cole album which also lacked hits. If you had said on here 3 months ago that this woulda happenened you would have been clowned into existence.
but lets be honest Post Malone's flop is the ugliest by a huge distance & I kinda wish there was more convo around that instead.

Why should we even talk about Posty flopping lmao he even acknowledged it and said its ok for him, he’s also already working on his next album
Nothing really to talk about this case
Meanwhile Kendrick and Drake stans constantly said they’re doing over 500k easily fw but both flopped now lmao

feels weird to just turn this into some stan wars thread lol we can do better than that. But there was also Post stans saying he's gonna do huge numbers, s*** only 3 years ago loads of them were saying he's gonna take Drake's spot.
with Kendrick & Drake it's clear they can easily do higher numbers with their next albums... But with Post Malone it isn't as clear anymore, all of his singles since HB did eh & even the song with Doja Cat on the latest album really isn't doing that great.
this is an artist with 2 of the top 5 most streamed spotify albums of all time...going from that to this new album is insane.
BB still doing 116k on US is f***ing nuts
