One of the reasons GKMC will always be my favorite Kendrick album. The potential he showed on that album was mind-boggling. So many timeless songs on that s*** and now if he wants to make a hit, he has to make bottom of the barrel trash like Humble or feature on a pop song by a white singer or use one of Baby Keem's irritating flows. It's really amazing how far off he's fallen in that regard.
for real, Kendrick stans think we hate all his music when in fact we can admit s*** like GKMC being top tier and one of the greatest albums of all time. Now, you saying something negative about his music when the decline of quality is obvious and they label you as a complete hater.

I'll make you a bet that a year from now or probably even 9 months from now, GKMC will be charting higher than this Kendrick album. Why? Because listeners have brains and they use them and they know what's good from what isn't lol.
I remember like after a year TPAB dropped out of the Billboard 200 albums. GKMC is still there at #23. That's his true classic.

To anyone that knows of culture outside this weird dusty-ass niche many Kendrick fans seem to live in - there are a LOT of smarter people. People want the man to be black jesus
so bad they got to gas everything. Honestly, Drake doesn't have a bad verse nevermind a bad feature. Kendrick needs half a decade on one project, with the best studio heads and instrumentalists in the world. Outside of that half the man's feats suck. Drake's loosies have more replay value than most of Kendrick's discography.
No need to get into to all that. Let his fans focus on streaming this album so it doesn't do lower than what Cole's album did because...

Common sense dictates that nobody keeps streaming an album day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year if they honestly believe the songs on said album to be bad. I'm not playing a song I think is wack over and over so y'all's argument that Drake is making the worst music on the planet but is still doing the biggest numbers for 13 years running now is and has always been stupid.
According to some of you, Drake hasn't made a good song in 7 years but yet people are still listening to his music more than the music of the niggas y'all claim are making better music so who is lying?
Real Good music usually dont chart well . Basic trap songs with dumb lyrics are the ones to chart these days.

S***ting on a popular act for releasing trash doesn't equal s***ting on all popular art. And it's got nothing to do with feeling better. Just those albums are harder to ignore so people are more likely to express negative opinion. As they would with MCU or Ed Sheeran or anything else popular they dislike
I get that but why not let people enjoy what they wanna enjoy? How is popular art affecting anyone who doesn't appreciate popular art? I like Marvel movies/shows. Do I think the superhero s*** is overdone now? Yes. But do I complain and act like I'm better than the people who aren't tired of it like I am? F*** no because I think as mainstream as those movies/TV shows are, a lot of work goes into them and they're made as well as they possibly could be made. This is a concept most Kendrick fans don't get.
You don't HAVE TO like Drake. I'm a massive Drake fan and I'm never scared to s*** on a song I think is wack. It doesn't mean as a Kendrick fan you get to s*** on Drake and all he's done because he doesn't do what Kendrick does.
Appreciate everyone for their contributions to the game but no, everyone has to talk s*** about Drake like anybody in rap history has ever done what he's currently doing. The disrespect is too much.

GKMC has been in my top 5 most played albums every single year since it dropped. I listen to songs off it every single day of my life. I love that album to death. I think it's the album that best encapsulates Kendrick as an artist.
