They literally base all their stances, beliefs, and behavior off of going against “Drake stans”.

It’s actually giving mental illness at this point.

Pusha can laugh at someone having terminal illness and they joking along spinning the diss on repeat but let a Drake fan in this thread say something rude and all of a sudden they the Morals Squad

Beloved ktt user pusha t said what 4 years ago

There’s no way people genuinely think this ? Unless you’re just ignoring all the context because you want him to flop

A drake surprise album categorised as dance shouldn’t be selling more than actual albums by artists like Weeknd and Post Malone. I

As soon as it was known it was a short dance album the 200s was the best case scenario. Kendrick for example though nobody was expecting his return album to be in the 200s. Predictions were 500k +

Everytime someone tried to talk about the factors surrounding Kendrick's album, they got hit with this by OP

We all know both albums have reasons why they aren't selling as much as they could have been selling. Yall just getting that same energy back rn

Sir, this is a sales thread. If you don't want to talk about numbers (but only when Drake dominates them) then...

Kendrick dropped his highly anticipated album after 5 years missing. That alone should've had it way above what is sold. There were convos about it doing 1 mil first week lmao

Yall keep bringing up the 5 year gap almost like that's a surefire way to keep people on the edge of their seat waiting. I'm not sure that's the case, such a long gap can have the opposite effect. Especially with what he dropped, that album is not listenable/replayable. I was in the thread the day it dropped and people were saying "Schizophrenic 4:44", "Head down on the subway with headphones battling your demons music". Drake stans focus on N95, Die Hard, Rich Spirit and Silent Hill but that album also has Worldwide Steppers, We Cry Together, United in Grief, Crown, Auntie Diaries, Mother I Sober which clearly aren't mainstream sounding songs. Then there's controversy surrounding the music that could put people off like Kodak Black features, sexual abuse and the f slur. Tbh, I expected this Drake album to sell more first week because it's Drake and the sound/topics are more palatable than Kendrick's

1 million first week is just crazy talk, I predicted around 300k before the album dropped. Just like there's Drake stans who said CLB had no promo, sometimes niggas just say goofy inaccurate s***

You still crying because you tried to expose me on some anti-African hairstyle s*** to defend Drake when I'm African and had dreads for a quarter of my life

Got exposed on your "I'm not a Drake stan" s*** when we can all still see the posts from a month ago

Calling it pathetic to bring up posts from a month ago but you crying like a b**** about a Pusha T song from 2018

You going out sad throughout this thread man.

Historically, House albums have never sold well (except on very rare occasions). Drake nearly cracking 250k first week with his effort is pretty impressive, honestly.

It is an L, no one expected him to sell around 200K, not even his fanbase.

Just accept it, the album is good so it doesn't matter.

Nobody expected Kendrick to sell within the 200s.

And the "because it's Drake" is another way people try to downplay why Drake sells a lot. He is the biggest and makes the impactful Hip Hop + Hip Hop is the biggest genre. Hence him big numbers.

He made a Dance album and categorised it as that. Also announced it a few hours before release.

Kendrick currently selling less than Future and none of the catchy songs have really had a grip on the culture. The Spotify sponsored ghana trips ain't got the people moved.

Kendrick has only sold massive numbers with the bundle assisted DAMN so maybe expectations were just too high. We already know Drake selling 500k + when he drops back in his rap bag. I can't say the same for anybody in rap right now.
