Crazy how quickly Drake's fanbase migrated to streaming-based consumption post-VIEWS. Of course this is the way for every artist, but I feel like Drake especially just doesn't move jack s*** for pure sales ever after he moved an insane 800k pure with VIEWS (though that was of course fueled by its one week of Apple Music exclusivity)
Then again he brings this on by not offering physicals soon enough, not offering digital albums for sale immediately, not bundling when that was a thing etc etc

Been known that bundles were artificially inflating and propping numbers up for mostly everyone. They need to recalculate streaming numbers again because right now it's pretty ridiculous, at least as far as first week numbers go.
It gives albums better legs down the road since there isn't such a steep drop off after the first week and streaming continues, but in order to give a standard ~15 track album a sale during its first week you'd have to stream it, in its entirety, 83 times (!) on a paid service or 250 times (!!!!) on an ad-supported service. Lol

Thats part of it and now no one can fake numbers with bundles. Sales would've sunk this low years ago if artists weren't using gimmicks. I love Trav but over half Astroworld sales were bundles. I'm worried for Utopia if he doesn't come up with something because people will think 250k is a flop for him when that's more than Astroworld did without bundles
