I’ve never heard of Black Coffee before this album tbh
You didn’t listen to more life?
Since when tf does carnage help move units
WDYW, Mase in '97, I Like Tuh, and Bricks are classic hits, especially for the "outside" crowd

I had no idea Black Coffee was on more Life until your post just now

These songs are all coming up on a decade old bro
Yeah, but a lot of house legends wouldn't really fit with Drake's style, and many of them don't even produce anymore. I can't imagine him singing over Todd Terry production lol.
I think Black Coffee is a great fit.
I think some french filter house with singing over it woulda done the trick
And some garage with R&B singing over it
The songs are a bit too similar to each other

That get it together joint is a remix of one of Black Coffees biggest hits "Superman"

Oh word. I guess it’s just like one of those featured artists you forget about. Like there’s no way I’m going to remember Amanda Reifer is on Die Hard if I see her name come up 5 years from now
There's really no excuse for Drake to not tap in with Kaytra for this album. They both from Canada. Kaytra must of said no or something

I remembered cause he has a distinct stage name
Album is cool IMO better than CLB but it's obvious Drake did this s*** like in a month
He said they were working on it the past 6-7 months, and was pictured with Carnage a lot throughout the time. This for sure been in the works longer than a month.

The album doesnt show it then
I thought you liked it?
I do but it's not like revolutionary s***, just very solid chillout house for the most part

Black Coffee is a purist off the sound, also he understands the influences and uses them just right. His type of production would give a vocalist a lot of room to breathe. Drake just didn't perform as good as he should.
You getting European House production would outshine Drake and would just sound like any typical house song.
I wish Drake didnt sound as uninspired as this, he had everything to have a classic on his hands.
Drake stans like OP are such sore losers (which is already weird because an artist not selling well shouldn’t be seen as a personal loss to a fan)
Big “I’m taking my ball home” energy

Its kinda absurd that this project doesn't even have a melody as good as he did on passionfruit
even his simple hook on the remix of superman is better melodically than the things he did here
