Drake flopping doesn't make Kendrick album less of a flop, both can comeback easily but one doesn't affect the other (i'm talking 1st week ofc, we will see how each album performs lifetime wise)
DLDT had 3 songs top 30 on Spotify Global on day 3
honestly nvm has 5
Pretty interesting considering the narrative about how this is doing poorly due to a lack of rap. Lets see how it compares to DLDT after a few months, I bet this does a lot better
It doesn't matter if Drake's next album fails to do 600k. Whatever decline he may experience surely won't be as bad at going from doing 600k to doing half of that and that's the point we're trying to make with Kendrick that you seem to not be getting.

Planet Her is a future classic for sure. I just wonder how she's gonna follow it up but I hope she finds a way to do that.
Beyoncé sucks bro
Grow up and listen to Solange
^This dude been in the thread for the past 6 hours hating on every artist not named Drake
This is true, especially for Drake. 6 months into the year and he's the most consumed artist in the US without dropping anything.
Worst case, he flops with the new music that isn't reflective of what his listenership is used to but his back catalog is so strong that it won't even matter.
Also, flopping will remove the pressure/expectations that come with being him and feeling the need to always smash with a new project.
In turn, fans get a more adventurous Drake trying s*** he's never done before musically and even better, he can always return to making rap music whenever he wants to. Everybody wins lol.

Why would you log on and lie like this lol
Doja Cat GOATing
even with all those hits and radio play she's still getting outsold by clb, s*** doesn't add up

no,she isnt?
There's a ton of music people can party/catch a vibe to on the album.
This is the most interesting Drake project I've listened to since probably More Life. Every rap project he's dropped since then has had this air of disinterest like he's just making rap music because he's expected to.
If he needs to step away from making rap projects to make s*** like this for a bit before coming back to it, I'm all for it.
Glad you coming around to the album

flopping is relative, doing better than the "supposedly" biggest rapper on the planet is the opposite of flopping

Drake has a longer legacy and has been doing this for over a decade.

CLB a classic

DLDT wasn’t an album.
By doing this, they’re setting themselves up for the biggest L of all time when Drake’s next album sells less than 600K, which it almost certainly will, between new billboard rules and lack of Donda vs. CLB stimulus. They’ll just end up calling it a playlist though when it happens because delusion knows no bounds.
crazy this man predicted this whole week
