To be fair there were a lot of Kendrick stans who were insistent that he would outsell Drake with their respective next albums, usually backed up by shoddy logic like using More Life vs. DAMN. sales and Drake’s downward sales trajectory from Views -> Scorpion. So it’s fair for us to pop back in and throw a little
in hereANYWAY 350k is extraordinary for 2022 and will he is still the second-highest selling artist in the game. And this album is so f***ing incredibly good; one of my favorites of the last five years for sure.

Ye did pretty well for only 7 tracks. Like 5/7 tracks went viral on TikTok and also 5/7 tracks have over 100m streams on Spotify, with Wouldn't Leave following soon. The stans hating on this album but the general population f***ed with it.
JIK on the other side isn't even platinum yet but it's by far his worst album and all the Yandhi hype with the leaks turned off many people at that time

What physical copy rule. A physical copy counts as 1 album sold. Technically it's cheaper to buy an album than have 1500 streams count as an album
