If I had to label anything a flop, it’s when a big name artist chases hits and trends and it doesn’t work. Like Katy Perry was a flop for example if I remember correctly.

Big name artists making albums about depression, inner turmoil, or going left on an unannounced project, and seeing a dip in their numbers is a conscious decision they’re making imo.

That’s why I don’t really consider a lot of the albums that get called flops in here flops but that’s just me.
