Said it before and I’ll say it again, he needs to develop a serious heroin habit before recording any more music. This would be the best possible career move for him.
He would produce a deranged, dark, d***ged out experimental album that would be praised. He’d give grizzly accounts of life and the situations he gets into while being a fiend, and hustling pills on the side to fuel his addiction as people begin to distance themselves from him. Soon it would come out about his addiction and the media would be buzzing. Scandal after scandal would arise and he’d be the most talked about person in the world as he continues down this dark path of addiction and insanity. Then, he would get arrested for possession and do a stint in jail, adding credibility to the hard image he’s been trying to adopt for sometime. The #FreeDrake movement would be like nothing we’ve ever seen before and it would spark an international conversation about how we treat addicts (rehabilitative vs punitive punishment.
Drake would get out, get clean, and become the face of the opiate epidemic sweeping North America, opening him up to even wider audiences and platforms. His first album after release would sell a million first week and be praised, as Drizzy explores a whole new realm of lyrical content reflecting on his past degenerate behavior and becomes a symbol of hope for millions dealing with addiction. This would be great for his image, solidify him as one of the greatest rappers ever, and create worldwide change that benefits millions for years to come.
The best possible thing drake could do for his career is to start doing as much dog food as possible, as soon as possible.
Y’all really caring about sales is crazy
They've been like this all month. Coming in here arguing about sales but trying to say they don't care. Can't have it both ways, it's obvious now
300k for a side project compared to 290k for a "massive" comeback album
huh. makes you think
210-230k. I think you knew that though.
Let’s keep it real tho
No promo and limited rapping for a rapper
200k ain’t bad, Kendrick sold 200k wit promo and real bars
"promo" bruh announced a release date. No single, nothing none of that lol
Let’s keep it real tho

If you spent a month calling the highest first week album for a rapper a flop then this a flop too lol
I let my humbleness turn to numbness at times letting time go by knowing I got the endurance to catch it another time
I work with every breath in my body cause it’s the work not air that makes me feel alive
That’s some real detrimental s*** but that’s that s*** my perfectionist mind doesn’t really mind because no one knows whats on my mind when I go to sleep at 9 & wake up at 5 - unless I say it in rhyme
I can’t remember the last time someone put they phone down, looked me in the eyes and asked my current insight on the times
But I remember every single time someone shined a light in my eyes
I purposely try to forget what went on between some ppl and I because I know I’m not a forgiving guy even when I try
My urge for revenge wins the game against my good guy inside every single fckn time
I got plans I can’t talk about with more than like 4 guys because the last time I shared em with someone on the outside…well that’s another story for another night
I was tryna get thru that statement to get to saying I’m not @ a time in my life where pats on the shoulder help get me by
I’ll take loyalty over an oh my & emoji fire
I know if it was a dark night where all the odds were against my side & my skill went to whoever took my life they’d done me off with a big smile & maybe evn post it for some likes
I know everyone that tells me they love me doesn’t love me all the time especially when im doing better than alright & they have to watch it from whatever point they at in their life
I got here being realistic
I didn’t get here being blind
I know whats what and especially what and who is by my side
Honestly…Nevermind.

It's an album. If it was a side project than Drake has never released anything other than that
Imagine letting fans living in your head rent free
It ain’t rent free when y’all are the most vocal people on this site about how much better drake is than the rest of the industry. Keep that
I enjoyed Honestly Nevermind, and it also has Drake stans in shambles. Truly a win-win
ma boi what for is all the chit chat let the streets decide
BAMSKI WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE ALBUM
300k for a side project compared to 290k for a "massive" comeback album
huh. makes you think
Narrative
Drake is marketing this as his 7th album this isnt a side project
300k for a side project that is basically a mixtape which is basically an EP which is basically a single which is basically a podcast episode which is basically the rantings of a homeless man
Because it’s Drake, that’s why! Y’all said he’s the biggest artist in the world and a surprise drop can’t even outsell Midrick Midmar?!
If 300K is a flop for kendrick how is not even 250K NOT a flop for drake?
