It isn't really damage control. The projections were underwhelming and there are valid reasons as to why they were. The notion that "Drake fell off" or "Kendrick outsold" isn't genuine based on the context surrounding this project. You say cope but it being in a completely other genre is a valid reason for the numbers but once niggas figured out yall were going to clown regardless of reality it was whatever
