man the TPAB/UU era was my favorite the man was icing every performance he did i'm glad someone has this colbert performance thought it was scrubbed off the internet.
that Untitled 3 performance changed my music life, it was everything I’d ever wanted in a song idk how to explain it. used to just run the s*** on loop. the consistent building verse to verse in the sound and his energy in his verses on top of his focus of leading that energy to quick silent moments…man…that’s what i like the most about how he crafts songs
These were moments man. Was amazing to witness in real time
Kendrick going from gkmc era into tpab era and topping it with such a creative album too was unreal.
For those who haven't seen the live performance run he was on around that 2015 era I highly recommend to watch em still. S*** was MAGIC.
Untitled 3 and Blue Faces/Untitled 8(into 2) live were truly peak experiences.
I've had an mp3 of that untitled 3 version since that performance came out. Someone on ktt1 made it I think and decent quality too. It was before streaming completely took over.
But when UU came out, I replaced the album version with the live version in my itunes so I could always just hear this version
Still got it
Eventually I also got used to the album version though, it's fine too.
I don’t know which one of these late night joints he premiered blue faces on but that’s the one for me
