Because he did write, produce and arrange it
This weird ktt narrative that Tyler didnât go crazy with the production on that album been lame as f***
Not going to continue this conversation if y'all can't be objective about it.

Tyler flexing that s*** on the cover when the beat of his song is borderline IDENTICAL to this is odd to me. That's just my opinion, y'all not gonna change it
On God
hate & victory will energize you
How you gonna flex producing the songs on the cover when they're pretty much all sample based with some of them barely being changed from the samples?
ye been doin it for 20 years!
ye been doin it for 20 years!
? Doesn't have that corny s*** on even one of his covers. And he generally isn't as derivative of the samples as Tyler is, Bound 2 vs A boy is a gun is a perfect example

Using a sample (even in a simple way) is still producing
Using a sample (even in a simple way) is still producing
Putting that s*** on the cover just doing too much. That's just how I feel, some people agreed in the thread about it
IGOR still an amazing album
Ignorant Nigerians never cease to say something stupid
While we were both attending an HBCU, one of these mfs tells me Iâm not like the other African Americans and when he goes back to his village heâll be able to tell people he met one African American while he was here lol

Hereâs a post I made 2 years ago going into detail on every track. Obviously this was a reply to someone else so some of this donât apply to you
Igorâs Theme - He looped a drumbreak and added all the other instrumentation. The synths he did on this song are beautiful and for op to say âIâll give him his 5 saturated synth notesâ is just straight up hating for no reason
Earfquake - Completely original
I Think - He used a drumbreak and interpolated the song âspecial ladyâ. Of course they sound similar, he literally interpolated the song. But I donât see how this qualifies as a ripoff. I Think doesnât sound exactly like what was interpolated. Dre and Ye interpolated songs all the time to get around having to clear the sample. The sample in All Falls Down is replayed and uses the lyrics from it same as this. You gonna call that a rip off?
Running Out Of Time - Completely Original. Only thing sampled is a vocal saying âRunâ from a Run DMC song
New Magic Wand - Used a drumbreak, Everything else is original. I have no idea why op said this is basically just a cover like what the f*** are you talking about
A Boy Is A Gun - A chopped and looped sample with some added synths towards the end. Not really different than what Ye did with the sample. Tyler was also originally involved in the making of the original Bound
Puppet - He chopped up a sample and added other instrumentation to it. There is parts where he lets the sample breath more tho. Still nothing crazy if you like dudes like Madlib or Alchemist who do this all the time. Then another sample in the end used similarly to how Ye did on New Slaves where itâs mostly just a short piece of a song as the outro
Whatâs Good - Uses a drumbreak, everything else is original
Gone Gone, Thank You - For Gone Gone he sampled a song and added his own elements. I donât see how this is directly a rip off. Of course the chords and melody are the same itâs literally a sample of another song, this is what sampling is lmao. For the The Thank You part he replayed part of the sample and used lyrics. However what tyler did is different sounding than the original idk why op is acting like tyler did nothing original on this
I Donât Love You Anymore - He chopped a sampled and added his own elements. The sample is mainly just drums tho. This how most samples are used. For some reason Op says this is the most original song on the album which doesnât even make sense since there are multiple other songs with no samples or songs that just used a drum break
Are We Still Friends? - He looped a large part of an Al Green song for this. There is some minor additional instrumentation tho. This the only one I can see what Op is saying but Tylerâs done similar things with Lone on wolf and the second beat on Smuckers. And once again the whole outro of New slaves does this exact thing. Itâs Ye and Frank singing over an old song
On the cover he says all songs âwritten, produced and arranged by himâ
He interpolated some lyrics but everything else is still him. Obviously he didnât write some of the features lyrics but we know what he meant by saying this
He still produced everything. The only songs that are mostly just loops are A Boy Is A Gun and Are We Still Friends (which still counts as producing). Everything else is Original, Just used a drumbreak, or sampled a song and added his own elements
Obviously he arranged the structure of the songs
Was writing that on the cover a little egotistical? Yeah but clearly he was proud of this album
I peeped those wild 10 minutes again, when Dre hit the stage and then Russ and others crip walk all over the place. Gotta say, the peak madness goes down on the second run of NLU right at the start you can literally see the whole arena straight shaking. Never seen anything like it. Craziest s*** in hiphop ever.
This moment:

yup
I'm learning that these kinds of niggas don't even listen to Kendrick and don't listen to that much more Drake, just Drake's big records/albums.
I was talking to some girls at work who like Drake but couldn't name a single song from Honestly Nevermind, didn't know the album even came out and pretty much told me their favorite album from him was certified lover boy and that they don't listen to Kendrick because he's too preachy but could only name We Cry Together as the song they listened to
I genuinely hope whatever next project Kendrick drops, he beats the TPAB allegations niggas keep trying to stick to all his music because apparently Damn and Black Panther and the Baby Keem run weren't enough.
Oh but they love Not Like Us btw
yeah if he dropped Damn 2.0 next is a wrap
Jared can not be a real human
theres a Travis diss in there?
It's the "Rolling loud stage" line. He's talking about Kylie
Everybody thought he was talking about Future / Ciara but that's not true at all
Drake had run the well of his good will dry ages ago, I'm learning. Made as many fake friends as he did enemies and thought his super stardom would translate acquaintanceship or just business relationships into the kind of genuine love niggas have for someone like Kendrick. And I know that makes Drake sick. Not even the Pusha beef out him in a situation like this.
This battle showed that it's more worthwhile to be revered & respected than feared & tolerated.
Yeah but in this sense I dont know what his end game was as a straight shooter. Yes signed 440 million deal but his entire career has cried about wanting his flowers . He wants his super bowl. He wants his tiny desk. He wants the love and admiration at the end of his career to not only feel like he sonically gave us a lot but that at the end of the day we love him and view him central to the black experience
ALL OF WHICH HE COULD ATTAIN WITH A SLIGHT CHANGE IN BEHAVIOR ( Similar to Ye but Ye not slight change lol). So they both get jealous of who the black community does applaud an rather than use constructive ways to address it they lash out then wonder why people dont trust their soul to consistently make progress
Nigga tell me I won't smack this nigga right now
There are serial killers all over white culture they just don't make art because it would bring too much attention to the serial killing
Black people engage in gang culture then music and art because they want to escape WHAT THEY WERE BORN INTO
The one of the best interviews I ever had in Chicago was Gun violence Awareness I was helping
The Chiraq comments and Keef came up it was 2013-2014
I said "aight then lets not be offended by it we will own it if you want to call us Chiraq look what destabilized Iraq . They kept looking for weapons of mass destruction that didn't exist. The amount we put into our government, bailing out banks could help these children fight a war they are fighting against their will. You celebrate veterans yearly multiple times a year. You say 09/11 never forget. But when I say these kids dodge bullets in their neighborhood to get to a drunk teacher who can't explain negative numbers to them you say ' that is what they deserve' that is what we expect from our system of education, law, homelessness for black people. If they volunteer to kill Muslim children the same age as them in a land they have never heard of you clap. You do the pledge to that right? What the f*** do you do for these kids hurting whose only crime that gets them into gang lifestyle is being poor?"
Point being
yes Julio Foolio dissed his opps
FBG Duck dissed his opps
gangs part of their purpose less than the black panthers but still partially was to protect OUR COMMUNITY
TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY. Some do some dont
the CIA loves cooking up beefs and violence turmoil that divides us has us pissing on graves
has FBG Duck getting shot in the biggest luxury shopping street in Chicago
Yet suddenly when Kendrick has gang members on stage peacefully dancing you take it as only a cosign of what people do for survival or related to a rap beef that got someone killed vs even a moment of peace

Respect the effort you put into this post and the effort to find it again
But yeah, my issues are mainly with Are We Still Friends, A Boy is A Gun and Puppet
And again, it's just the fact that he put that on the cover. Not saying he can't sample but to sample that heavily on those songs I mentioned and then put that on the cover - that's my only issue
