It wasn't always the case, but Aubrey has been moving like somebody who interchanges versatility with a lack of identity.

The West coast, east, the south, and the Midwest, are all regions for reasons beyond geographical location. Their cultures are not costumes that you can swap out depending on the weather, and without a certain level of awareness, that's how you get a song where Aubrey's shouting out a West coast artist, expecting them to side with him and not a fellow west coast native whose culture he just disrespected.

That doesn't mean everybody in the west rocks with k dot. It just means that you might go out of your way to piss off one person, and end up pissing off a lot more people in the process. Those who take YG siding with the west as a "betrayal," because YG and Aubrey have a couple of songs together, don't seem to understand that the cultural aspect of this whole s*** goes beyond music.

It's like a milquetoast Englishman settling in Mexico, assimilating, learning the lingo, thriving in the culture, but then gets into it with a Mexican native and insulting them on some, "You're not even a real Mexican," tip.

Was Taylor Made disrespectful? Absolutely, but it's for a beef and that's how they're supposed to be. Was it a smart move? Not really, because when you don't have your own cultural lines to draw from, you won't have the necessary foresight on the consequences of crossing somebody else's line.
