It was made because Kendrick fans and many others, including me, were expecting him to pull huge numbers. Most people said 450-600K first week (and one viral tweet from a kendrick fan said 1m first week). Great Divine, the knowledgeable user she is, wanted to tell people to lower the expectations as those numbers weren't realistic. And she was right. Less than 300K.
I was there the day the thread was made. She swapped out the OP and title over time, but your post warps her intention for making that thread. She wasn't putting everyone on with her knowledge
She was reacting to swarms of people excited for a new Kendrick project just to be a hater contrarian and she made the correct bet that time.It's poetic justice that the thread has come full circle back to Kendrick hitting another commercial and cultural peak and she has to lie in the bed she made.
