Squares are known to represent the physical make up of the material world, foundation & order.

My theory is that Kendrick is presenting songs like ‘Not Like Us’ & ‘Squabble Up’ as violent but necessary, and they ground him to the world by providing him with the means to be the best in the game. A practical, realistic approach to things.
