Why. Do. Artists. Still. Have. Twitter.
Nothing positive comes from it bro lol. At least Instagram you can ignore dms from dumb niggas, twitter unless you private the replies, you gotta deal with dummies and bots and then you eventually end up just tweeting and deleting.
It’s a double edged sword; Twitter is where music related discussion and virality occurs most potently - which is built into the discussion-spreading text and audiovisual format, and these artists forgot that if they wanna engage in regular human being activities they’re gonna be treated like regular human beings, not symbols.
The deleting is “oh I didn’t think it would get regular people treatment” and they can’t stand on it cause they were looking to be treated like gods for their opinions. If these artists are gonna be on social media and still want to be treated like larger than life figures, then they can’t also engage in regular human being activities like treating their page as a diary or engaging in arguments
Essentially just shut the f*** up and post cool s***. We’re here for your art

Was her response rude or something?
Nope, literally just "y'all never seen a singer that produces all of her own music and reproduces live on stage?" something along those lines. She still has this one from yesterday up. She just be getting annoyed I think lol

Truthfully, I assumed that first response was her being facetious, so the follow up to it that she deleted made sense to me. As far as I know she's always done her own thing like that on stage, I think if she really wanted/needed a DJ she could like you said. Now that she's getting in front of bigger crowds, some are just puzzled at what's going on. At least that's what I think.

Yeah I saw all the exchanges, just confusing since I've never seen her with a DJ lol thought it was just how she preferred to do things. But she could be looking to expand, who knows
