Those drums are just a little harder and obviously her vocal performance is on another level. Idk, I love cheesey 80s but this song wouldn't even be in that category for me.

I love the vocals + the message for sure
U rly don’t think this gives a similar vibe to tears for fears and stuff in that bag?
I should check out Kate Bush's music
I'm a huge FKA Twigs fan and constantly see comparisons
You can draw a through-line from Kate Bush to a ton of pop musicians today tbh. One of the most influential musicians of all time

Cheesy 80s to me is like- Oingo Boingo and The B-52s. Idk I'm not really a fan of Kate's sleepier music. This album bangs like it's supposed to
I love this song. First heard it 2019
i'm pretty sure i heard this song back in middle school and was a fan ever since. Hounds of Love wasn't on Spotify for the longest time and when Apple Music dropped back in 2015, it was on there. literally one of the only reasons why I switched over

Never tried getting into them Fr but all the stuff I heard growing up didn’t do it for me

if you're not into the mainstream s***, listen to The Hurting. it's a really good gothic-esque, dreamy pop album

Pretty much anything outside of this lol. If you can describe music as ambient I'm mostly out. Post is my favorite Bjork record. I'm listening to more Soft Cell than The Cure.
There should be a bad moon rising song it’d fit pretty well
are you talking about the Sonic Youth album
Only on epi 2, which episode is it in
i finished episode 1. i'm pretty it's on there

Yeah. Death Valley 69 would be perfect for the murders and them thinking hellfire is a cult and s***
Set in 86 too so fits perfectly
