Ye uses a team of designers at this point so who’s to say it’s not as simple as the same people working for his sneaker division and working for adidas
and when you look at some of the Ozweegos or similar shoes you can see the Yeezy DNA in them or vice versa, I think the Ozweego came out decades ago. Kobe Crazy 8 soles on the 500’s, why would adidas think the slides are off limits? On top of typically being common to share shoe DNA in Jordan/Nike, Reebok/Shaq, etc. type arrangements so the consumer can get a similar product with more availability and maybe a lower price
Ye brand isn’t as Teflon as it was after a lack of true 07-13 level hits in a few years + the Pete Kim harrassment narrative that he allowed to be built. Gonna be ugly to see dude have to try and forcefully make under Armour or sketchers cool cuz you “weren’t the problem” with two of the biggest footwear companies in the world lol
