in spite of everything I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up with Kanye resigning with adidas either and presumably on more favourable terms

I know its always gonna be pro Kanye on here and some of the stuff adidas have done, while industry standard, could def be perceived negatively especially from a 'creative' standpoint. Ultimately ye has always tried to position himself as a disruptor so u can't be too surprised if he objects to things like adidas takedowns of slides or foam runners or w/e.

But I also think that ye is always trying to do like 500 things at once whether it be shoes or clothes or f***ing kids basketball teams or housing concepts lol and I think that if the goal at adidas is to scale up yeezy into its own self sufficient and money making thing with regular drops and whatever else then having Kanye literally have final say on everything and always being subject to his whims is frankly unrealistic. Maybe that was Kanye's goal idk but I feel like that was always gonna lead to a collision course if so.
