the confederate flag moment wasn’t really a right wing take when he explained it. but i guess you could tie it all together if you look at future behaviour. he was still preaching leftist politics back then though

it wasnt necessarily right wing but it was still stupid and misguided (and could easily be co-op'ted/twisted/manipulated for right wing views)

in fact, imo, i personally think the confederate flag ish is what made him first be able to knock on the doors of the right wing and conservative pipeline and their rooms

but yeah i agree overall - he went from revolutionary to left politics, to left politics but misguided/over-reaching, to right, to alt right

people want him to shut up about this stuff so they have the plausible deniability that he has somehow changed his mind on all of it. they haven't learned how to take the good with the bad, so whenever they're reminded that the bad is still as present as it's ever been, they get upset about it.

the sooner they realize that this is who kanye is, always has been, and always will be, the sooner they can make a real choice on whether they're fans or not.

i been off him and barely paid attention to after donda 1 (which i do like), and the confederate slave s*** made me lose my "innocence" before then - i havent even listened to the new song, half ass listened to vultures 1 and skimmed vultures 2 on yt.

on top of him seemingly turning his entire back and showing his ass to "art" and what he stood for in music since donda 2's mess. which started tlop. and that started making me show cracks towards him in that field which completely broke with vultures 2 mess of being released literally unfinished on most of it and using AI in the most lazy way.
