It’s pretty remarkable how much of an emotional hold this jackass has over so many people for decades.
I’ve been watching old interviews and clips and outbursts. There’s hints of the bullshit always being there. Definitely mental health issues. Narcissism throughout it all. Delusions of grandeur. Reality only being contingent to his dilemma at the moment.
I think there’s a couple of times he tried to “save himself from himself”. Probably lots of folks who said eff this guy, then returned, and then fell out again. When that happens it makes relationships just material for a guy like this.
Anyways you can see a trajectory to today pretty clearly when you play it back.
