I believe there to be a correlation between an increase in stimuli through increased work, travel, loss of sleep, public appearances, etc. which usually coincides with the crunch time of making an album, and these rants, but they shouldn’t be taken any less seriously because of that. To dismiss it as just wanting our attention to sell us something, or to say he’s always been like this is very off the mark.
