“I’m trying to get to the point where I can drop my last name from my name”
I smiled at that part
Man the Scene in the apartment with Donda was so wholesome. It made me so sad to think she’s gone. If you watch kanye during that scene where she talks about being the giant, you can really see how he soaked up every word she said. This was even better than I expected.
This part got me
This part got me
Honestly his mom remembering his raps too. I was smiling so hard. She saw his greatness but also knew what to say to keep him grounded.
Also how the f*** do you hear all falls down and have no reaction
For them it was just another day at the office, hearing another rapper's demo
Still crazy

Still crazy
Probably being camera shy too
So much footage man… this is every fan’s dream fr. Now I get it. Now I understand how my parents generation felt when they saw docs about the artists of their time. This is incredible
I aint gon lie… this gotta be one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen, and this is only part 1! this s*** is so f***in inspiring to me. the scenes with Donda are heartbreaking. I neeeeed part 2
Am I the only one due to my deep fandom to this man but damm when donda appeared I got f***ing goosebumps, she was such a swet soul
Man this is beautiful, I was in fifth grade growin up on the south side of chi and there’s so much here making me nostalgic. The ye s*** great but man being teleported back and seeing my childhood idols making moves and striving for their piece while being so young. S*** really a lift for me.
Their faces when “all falls down” was playing is crazy, people don’t see the vision till it works
Donda made him the most popular he's been since Pablo and it was all because of the music, he didn't say a word up until Donda dropped
These reviewers can't seem to stop being subjective and insert their own beliefs into their articles. Because they personally stopped liking him they expect or think that the same goes for the general public which objectively is not the case
pop off queen
this was so good
blew my expectations away. amazing footage and well crafted narrative
crazy seeing Kanye as this shy, polite kid trying to break into the industry while people take advantage of him. makes sense why he would go full a****** after so many people didn't believe in him. also really puts into perspective the idea that some people quit right before they're about to strike big
the scenes with Donda were really powerful too. you can tell that's where he gets his confidence from and what a positive force she was in his life
so well done so far, can't wait for the next two episodes
man i felt so bad for him when he was rapping all falls down in the roc offices to those ladies and they didn’t even seem to care. and then he was just silent tapping the wall or whatever before walking out
