I prefer the energy on this but overall I enjoyed WUITB more.
Instrumental had more depth and the subject matter was meaningful. Although I don’t mind his rapping on here but it doesn’t sound like much thought was put into it. Still enjoyable, had some funny bars and the presidential line is iconic.
I lean more towards the Obi Wan line but I feel you lol
I will say I like the energy, I just wish it felt polished and tighter, closer to Facts. The cdq helped a bit for me but I don't see myself returning to this like WUITB. I was surprised to see a few people put this over it.
Glad you fw it though
Out of interest what are your thoughts on Toosie Slide?
S*** is trash . Waste of drakes musical abilities. Although I would say its trash . This songs is TRASH
I don’t follow the crowd bud, I like what I like.
That’s fine . I just see you in itt attacking everybody and calling them lame for not liking the song

He’s the only rapper that can say that line which is why I love it. Yeah it could’ve been better but it’s good for what it is, sounds more refined in Cdq but I lean more towards WUITB.
the breakdown during the second verse is great and i love the vocals in the background for the rest of the track
energy is great, beat is weird as f*** but hard
i like it !

No, I called people lame for doing exactly what you just said but to those who actually enjoy the song.

Yea I was saying yesterday theres always gonna be at least one line on a Ye record thats gonna hit hard in some way, I think we talked about that when WUITB came out. He always gonna have that unapologetic charisma even if just a little bit lol. Its hard to be mad at.
I'm still looking forward to the album.
I appreciate the honesty
Imma very honest person . That’s why I don’t understand the animosity towards me saying this song is horrible . Kanye is talented as far as I know but this s*** is unacceptable.
Edit: imma Drake fan , I can’t critique Ye

Even with some ye tracks I don’t like much, I tend to find an attribute to them that I somewhat appreciate. At this point I think it’s silly to really expect him to keep up with his past material. It’s only rare to see legends who keep that same quality up for 15 + years.
I can see ye dropping another classic before he retires though, just needs to be inspired and be in the right mindset to do so.

Fr. As a die hard Wayne stan, I had to learn that early lmao. It's bittersweet when you reach a point where your legacy completely eclipses you and everything you do moving forward, in and out of the booth. I mean I get where that pov comes from, but still, it just isn't logical. These men aren't machines.
Honest predictions for the album? Cause I have no idea what to think at this point. I'm thinking we're getting something Pablo esque. He seems like he wants to please people, but not go full MBDTF with it. I also think he has at least one more classic in him, but I don't think it will be Donda, nor will it be rap at all. I just have a strong gut feeling about the latter point. I also don't think it'll come any time soon.

Yeah Wayne is a perfect example tbh, also I have no idea. Does seem like he’s going the Pablo route with a more scattered sound palette. Kinda like the feeling of not knowing what to expect but I think you might be right.
