I feel you bro. I get the feeling that his turn to faith (or something resembling faith) is more authentic than we might think. Kim's out here saying "Jesus Christ" - full name with the emphasis - on the View. Yeezy is testifying on national TV on Jimmy Kimmel and Corden. Would be some real sociopathic s*** to not be at least somewhat on a spiritual path. Then again, that Christian market is strong and not being targeted by mainstream celebrities and their brands.

I'm more optimistic by default. Kanye genuinely creating (fashion, homes, art) for a higher power / for humanity could yield some really amazing stuff. But if he stumps for Trump in 2020 or drops sus music next album cycle, I'm gonna have to reconsider these positions.

Yeah this album sadly has no replay value at all. I’ve listened to Hands On once in the past week but besides that I haven’t had the urge to listen to JIK at all. And I’ve listened to tracks from every other Kanye album in that time, but this one just doesn’t pull me in at all. It’s so shocking listening to MBDTF or LR, hearing the amount of care that went into each...and then pressing play on JIK.
