You know who Mike reminds me of? Rod Temperton how he would suggest something or do something on the fly. Like writing the thriller rap at the last minute on the way to the studio right before Vincent Price is going to rap it.

He isn't even looking in want ad's, he just stumbles on random legendary people. Even though he did get the wrong guitarist, he's thinking of Gary Shider but we will let the stoner run free.

Ye bringing Mike Dean in is kinda fascinating. He could have anyone in the world at that point, and he picks someone who's USP is his synth solos.. Kind of shows you how any like some who just take the 'rockstar' persona Kanye really wanted to bring that effect of endless licks in the background into hip hop tracks without it being a gimmick.

Or at least that's how it comes off to me.

Either way Mike Dean's musical journey is crazy... Didn't he have piano lessons for 15 years? That's dedication
